  AMSTEL GOLD RACE (April 22, 2007) A RACE WITH 31 HILLS This coming Sunday, April 22, 2007 more than 250 km will be on the field’s program for the Amstel Gold Race. Departing from Maastricht (NED), the cyclists will complete a demanding course with no less than 31 hills, including three times the famous Cauberg, where also the finishing line will be. The Astana Cycling Team will feature in particular the Russian Sergueï Ivanov (2nd in 2002, 8th in 2004 and 10th last year) and the German Matthias Kessler (6th in 2004). Both of them intend to be more than simple observers in this 42nd edition of the Amstel Gold Race. Rider line-up for the "Amstel Gold Race": Assan Bazayev (KAZ), Koen De Kort (NED), René Haselbacher (AUT), Maxim Iglinskiy (KAZ), Sergueï Ivanov (RUS), Matthias Kessler (GER), Gennady Mikhailov (RUS) and Thomas Frei (SUI).
