Ronnie azzal ervelt, hogy nincs olyan piros, melynek mindket szelet latja a fehertol. Jan Verhaas pedig (nagyon helyesen) felhivta a figyelmet, hogy ez a szabaly mashol alkalmazando (pl. free ball megitelesnel), a harmadik hiba -> frame over szabalynal ugyanis elegendo olyan pirosnak lennie az asztalon, melynek a kozepet el tudja talalni a jatekos egyenes vonalon. Ezen csodalkozott Ronnie, de Jan Verhaas megerositette, hogy nincs mit tenni, ha ez a szabaly :)

(szabalykonyv Section 3, 14c:

After a miss has been called under paragraph (b) above when there was a clear path in a straight line from the cue-ball to a ball that was on or that could have been on, such that central, full-ball, contact was available (in the case of Reds, this to be taken as a full diameter of any Red that is not obstructed by a colour), then:
