Kluivert refutes quit talk

Newcastle striker Patrick Kluivert has angrily denied reports that he has retired from international football.
The 28-year-old Dutchman, who has won 79 caps for his country, had reportedly resigned his services after falling further down Marco van Basten's pecking order.
However, Kluivert has now denied that this is the case and that rather, he is keen on winning back his place in the full Holland squad.
"They put words in my mouth,'' Kluivert told De Telegraaf.
''I only told them that I was disappointed in the words of the coach that I am last in the line of strikers for Oranje.
"I can now concentrate fully on my club and will try to force a selection for Oranje by playing well and will decide on my future only when I am selected."
Kluivert's club future also remains uncertain, as Newcastle boss Graeme Souness has yet to offer the talented striker a fresh deal beyond the current campaign.
Despite failing to fully cement a place in Souness' starting XI, Kluivert has previously indicated that he would be willing to prolong his stay in the North East.
