Hendry ready for O'Sullivan
Stephen Hendry admits he will have to step up a gear when he takes on Ronnie O'Sullivan in the World Championships semi-finals on Thursday.
"I think it's the one everybody wanted," said the seven-time former champion. "Let's hope we put on a show.
"But If I want to win, I have to improve again. I think Ronnie is probably playing at a higher standard than I have in this tournament.
"He's capable of steamrollering me and I'm capable of steamrollering him."
The pair met at the same stage two years ago, with a fired-up Hendry winning the grudge match after some less than complimentary comments from O'Sullivan.
O'Sullivan had told Hendry he would be "sending him back to his sad little life in Scotland".
"That's water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned," said Hendry, who has won all three of his matches against O'Sullivan in the tournament.
"I've got the utmost respect for Ronnie - he's one of the greatest natural talents I've ever seen."
