TOKYO Aug. 26 Kyodo - Yokozuna Takanohana indicated Monday that he is ready
to end a 15-month hiatus from the raised ring and wrestle in the upcoming
Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament.
The 30-year-old grand champion, however, stressed that he would prepare for
next month's tourney at his own pace and dismissed the importance of last
month's ''advisory'' by the Yokozuna Deliberation Council to wrestle or retire.
