Robert interview from Hungarian tv:
"Yesterday night (Aug. 1st) tv2 of Hungary broadcast a couple of minute report on The Cure, including a short interview with Robert. Apart from the usual questions, there was one asking about a new album. Robert was nice saying that during the last tour he pretty much finished writing another album (that we already knew) and he hoped for releasing it some time next year (this, too). He said he had felt such a big demand and expectations from his solo cd that he had decided to offer it for free next to the brand new Cure album to be released in 2003. If people will like the solo cd, they will keep it, if not, they can throw it away (said it with a :-) ). Answering the question seeking for a confirmation on the new album (Q: So there will be a new album?), he said he hoped so and that there were discussions presently in the band as to how they should do it, how "they should work" (to me it meant whether to do it or not) but he added with smiling " I can be very persuasive if I want to", so that was a positive expression to describe the stage they are at. All in all it seems to me he actually wants a new cd. The whole image of Robert was so positive with lots of smile, it was good to see. It was also fun to hear the tv called The Cure "superstars"."

Cure in the Hungarian papers again:
"The Cure was mentioned in the hungarian daily newpaper called magyar hírlap and it is a rewiew about the gig of sziget festival .

also, the regional newspaper called 'Vas nepe' mentioned the cure : "The legendary british the Cure gave a memorable concert on the first day of sziget festival...' there was also a picture photo of Robert .

The Cure were also mentioned on the 31st July's 'mai nap' newspaper (sorry for the late news giving) as one of the 'big names' on the Sziget festival. The Cure has also a photo from the era 2000."
