Capitalist: Someone who makes a signficant part of their income from their ongoing ownership of capital property. Liberal: Believe in a mixed economy; Both capitalism and significan government managed social programs. A Short History of Financial Euphoria by John Kenneth Galbraith.

Socialist: Socialists believe in outlawing capitalism. Most Socialists are State Socialists, which means that they believe in having the entire economy planned and managed by the state. The State and Revolution by Vladimir Il'ich Lenin.

Communist : Communists believe in the withering of the state. They believe that at some point in time, that neither government nor capitalism will exist. Believes that a stage of State Socialism is necessary. Book: Capital : A Critique of Political Economy by Karl Marx.

Left Wing Anarchist: Similar to Communist, but against having a stage of State Socialism. Book: Chomsky on Mis-Education by Noam Chomsky.

Libertarian: Against tax funded social programs; Wants very few government functions other than the military; Against any government regulation of business. Does not believe that capitalism always leads to government intervention in business.

Right Wing Anarchist: Similar to Libertarian, but believes that the government should not exist at all. Unlike the Left-Wing Anarchist, the Right-Wing Anarchist believes that capitalism is beneficial, and can exist without the presence of a government. Religious Right: The Religious Right is against abortion and homosexuality. They generally support the right wing economic policies of privatization, deregulation, and eliminating social programs. The New World Order by Pat Robertson.

Facist: Believes in Capitalism; Strong authoritarian government regulation of everything; Imperialist international policy.

Nazi: A Facist who believes in demonizing various groups of people in order to kill or and enslave them and take their property. Book: Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler.
