I've uploaded the new driver pages which have been updated to the current line-up and with new ability ratings. Overall the ratings have risen to give the game a little more interest and to increase the ability variance between the skillful and the not so skillful driver. No new driver heads have been developed yet and at the present state, Tomas Scheckter is still the Jaguar test driver. For the time being, I've decided to go with Andrea Piccini and Jonathan Cochet as the test drivers for the Minardi and Prost teams. The reason is because these two drivers are young and have the same nationality as their current teams. Stéphane Sarrazin (also French) and Christijan Albers (Dutch) have been added to the Non-F1 drivers list. And as you would expect, I've also added Scott Dixon to the Non-F1 driver list. Although he may hold a New Zealand passport, he was infact born as an Australian. Therefore it would be wise to class him as an Aussie in GPW - even if Scott calls himself a Kiwi.
I'd like to welcome "Phat Rat" to the project. He has produced some very impressive 2001 liveries which will most likely turn out to be the carset we will implement into the patch. Could Phat Rat please email me at contact@gpworld2001.com regarding this issue? Thanks.
Yes, I'm still busy with my degree so I'm not devoting as much time to the project as before. However I am willing to release some of the project's workload to project helpers. So if your interested, please email me at contact@gpworld2001.com and we'll see if we can arrange something suitable.
And last and least, I have had no response from Gunther Roskams regarding his claim that I "used" him. It's very much behind me now so you've lost your chance to have your say Gunther.
Does anybody like the new emoticons?
