Mivel egy egoista, és egy exhibicionista is el van veszve bennem, bár nem szokásom, de picit kaserolom a CONVOYt. A német Daredevil homepage-én jött le a kritika 3 számos promótrackre. Most már a hazai kiadók is rákattanhatnának végre...

Convoy : Promo 2000

3 tracks are to be found on this promo CD in a real good sound quality. And it`s a pity that there are only 3 tracks, especially the vocals sound very interesting, clean and in a certain way positive, not always elaborated, but this doesn`t really matter. Sometimes they remind me of Ozzy, just listen to PURE.

But the music also shows great potential. FRANNY`S TEARS got a cool wah-wah hookline on the guitar-side and great melody-lines which you can`t get out of your head after hearing it for the first time. LET IT BREATH is a mainly acoustic guitar song with emotional vocals, but not depressed, again in a very positive mood.

PURE is also a very doomy song with very catchy guitar parts in a relaxed mood. All in all their style goes to the British Doom scene without copying a certain band.

So I hope there`s soon more to hear from Convoy, great musicians and a very own style but really listenable. People who are open-minded for fresh ideas in Doom ougth to check out this Hungarian band.
