Hey, kids, ever wonder why the music scene is so split up these days: Hardcore, Speedcore, Homocore, Riot Grrl, Pop, Powerpop, Punk, Punk Rock, Oi, Krishnacore, Squatterpunk, Garage, Rock and Roll, Punk Rock and Roll, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Death Metal, Black Metal, Grindcore, Rockabilly, Swing, Jazzcore, Alternative, Gothic, and on and on.

Well, for one reason: THEY want to keep you in your place ("If the Kids were United . . . " ), so that you don't get bigger than THEM. By having everybody split up into tiny pieces of pie, the people have no voice to vote with their wallets, and THEY continue to make the same phony copycat bands don't represent what the people want: Great and Exciting Songs. Instead, THEY have the kids fighting amongst themselves over who is wearing what, what color their hair is dyed, etc., etc. Everything is under control in a fake music scene that represents nothing.

But, real music comes from the heart and comes up from the streets, one person telling the other until it grows on its own, not force fed on dull radio stations that play the same 10 songs over and over. Real music is songs that change your life and never leave your head, songs that keep you alive, real music is felt not bought and THEY are afraid that you will find it and not buy what THEY made for you to buy.

Everytime THEY think THEY finally have you in control with their fake player-piano music ("electronica"!), Real Rock and Roll shows up and wakes up the dead - from the 1950s to the 90s (Elvis, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Rolling Stones, Who, Iggy Pop & Stooges, MC5, Velvet Underground, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Kiss, AC/DC, Motorhead, Minor Threat, Black Flag, etc.) the ugly beast of Rock and Roll rips the roof off and scares the hell out of THEM to revitalize the corpse of rock and roll and make music exciting again!
