The title of the forthcoming IRON MAIDEN album is Majesty Of Gaia
Majesty Of Gaia has the following tracklisting: 'Heaven's Gate',
'Cardinal Sin', 'Everyone's Illusion', 'Seraphine', 'Equinox', 'Fallen
Empire', 'King Of The Desert', 'Conveyer Of Truth', 'He Who Laughs Last'
and 'Majesty Of Gaia'.
The first single, due out on April 24 is scheduled to be 'Heaven's
Gate' and is said to be like 'Moonchild' and 'Futureal', a fast album
opener. The B-sides include 'Highway Star' (DEEP PURPLE cover) and probably
one or two of the following: 'Powerslave', 'Aces High' or 'Futureal' (all
recorded live on the Ed Hunter tour). The single will be released as a
two-part CD set and 12 inch version.
Sources say the album and single cover will feature Derek Riggs'
work. However, the single cover will feature digital art (like Riggs did on
GAMMA RAY's Powerplant album), as opposed to the album cover which will be
traditional painting.
Majesty Of Gaia is due out on May 29 in the U.K. and May 30 in
North America.
