June 9 Another source claims to have received a copy of the opening crawl for Episode-2 from an early draft of the script. Might be real, might be fan fiction, the source stands by it. Nevertheless, it is an interesting read:

that his Mother's fortunes have been severely changed over the last ten

To back up his claim, he included other tidbits from the still uncompleted script.
Highlight to read:
Shmi Skywalker now has a new master, called Mitor the Hutt.
Their will be a Sith Council, not unlike the Jedi Council.
The Clone wars will be fought on Alderaan, and the Mandalorians are all clones.
Sidious' new cyborg apprentice is a cyborg.
June 4 Design sketches have been done for Anakin Skywalker. In most of his designs, highlight to read: he is wearing a braid, ŕlŕ Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Other designs include highlight to read: Wookies. We might see Kashyyyk, which designs have also been sketched for.
As for Jar Jar Binks? highlight to read: Skywalker says that he will not be a featured character in Episode-2. George Lucas received a lot of negative feedback from that character and felt that it would be wise to to use him.
June 3 As promised, here is the Episode-2 news you've been waiting for. The following do contain major spoilers.
First of all, a little update on George Lucas' writing. He is down to the last 30 minutes of the movie. So we can expect the script to be complete in the next few weeks.
Rumours have been flying around regarding a higlight to read: love triangle between Anakin, Amidala, and Obi-Wan. My source wanted me to clarify that this is not a major theme in the movie. The "triangle" is, in fact, more of Obi-Wan's concern that Anakin is getting too close to Amidala.
Earlier, I posted about a location known as the highlight to read: Kuat Drive Yards. Now, at that location is a character named Kuat of Kuat. He runs the whole operation there. Kuat of Kuat has a species known as a Felinx as a pet, and there is a scene in the film where he is stroking his pet while watching Star Destroyers being made outside his window.
In that same scene, highlight to read: Kuat of Kuat has a meeting with Darth Sidious, where...are you ready?..Sidious pulls back his hood to reveal that he is...Senator Palpatine. This whole scene has been storyboarded.
June 2 In a phone conversation with Skywalker yesterday, he dropped some more Episode-2 information.
Highlight to read: Grand Moff Tarkin will be a prominent character in Episode-2. We see him emerging as a governor in his rise to power.

June 1 Skywalker has received some information on the infamous Clone Wars, to take place in Episode-2.
Highlight to read: The Clone Wars will not, contrary to popular belief, be held in space. It is a ground war, and a ground war only. Look for the Jedi Council to unite and fight in this fierce battle.
May 28 Skywalker chips in again with more news regarding the production of Episode-2.

highlight to read: They have already started storyboarding Episode-2 and the beginning has been put down on paper. Again, it sticks with the famous scroll, then we pan down to see a capital ship. What does the ship look like? Skywalker said it looked similar to a Star Destroyer, but different.
May 27 What is it exactly that Lucas is looking for in an actor to cast and Anakin? Well, according to Skywalker, my top E-2 news source, the actor has to be highlight to read: extremely agile, flexible, and good with martial arts. How many actors does that rule out? I think we're looking at a no-name here.
May 26 Want more info about Episode-2? Here you go...(regarding new chatacer) highlight to read:

As I have mentioned before, there will be a new computer-generated character who is a Jedi. This Jedi has a purple lightsaber. Now, off the record I'd like to say that this character might be...might be Yoda.
May 25 Continuing with our Episode-2 coverage, Skywalker has more information on something I posted a while back.

My source mentioned that in Episode-2 highlight to read: there will be another computer generated character who is a Jedi Knight. That Jedi Knight is a short alien creature. The new development? He has a lightsaber, and the blade is purple.
May 24 My source has pulled through with a LOT of Episode-2 information that I will post over the following few days. But first, something interesting about highlight to read: Darth Maul.

For those of you have seen Episode-1, you may recall that highlight to read: Darth Maul was cut in half. Well, apparantly, at LucasFilm, the man himself has set the design team to work on sketches of fourteen different Darth Mauls. Why? Apparantly the original Darth Maul is cloned into fourteen different warriors. Each with a distinct look.

The thing that is interesting about this information is that I received the same thing from two different sources.
May 20 You wanted more news on Episode-2, you got it.

In Episode-2, there is highlight to read: a new major character who will be completely digital. This character is an alien with a special attribute. He is a Jedi Knight.
May 17 Skywalker sent more news on the Episode-2 design sketches.

C-3PO highlight to read: now has some of his outer shell on. His chest is complete and the top half of his head is in place, but he lower is still all wires. His arms are completed, but his legs are not.

Obi-Wan Kenobi highlight to read: has been sketched out a few times. Some of the sketches have a mustache, some with a full beard, some with nothing. All of the skethches have no braid.

There is highlight to read: a new Sith Lord in Episode-2. Unfortunately the sketch doesn't reveal much, except a cloaked figure.
May 16 My friend and source, Skywalker, returned with more Episode-2 information. This is, I remind you, all rumour at this point, but nevertheless, it's still pretty cool. Highlight to read:

Episode-2 reveals the Kuat Drive Yards. The yards supply the growing Empire with their ships, like the Star Destroyer.
May 2 A good friend and source, Skywalker, chimes in that the Art Department at LucasFilm has already begun preliminary sketches for Episode-2. Sketches include highlight to read: Alderaan, Anakin Skywalker, Clones, and Mandalores.
