"Raspberry - Willamette, Rubus idaeus 'Willamette', bears an abundance of large, dark red, slightly tart raspberries from late spring to early summer. This red raspberry is an upright, deciduous, prickly shrub native to North America; the upright canes are lined with thorns. Prune once in early spring and again after harvesting berries in summer. The Willamette has berries that are fragrant and relatively firm and are good fresh, frozen, preserved, or in pies and pastries."
