"I have solved my problem! It seems that GTR3 does not respond to any Patch Change info at all, but only to continuous controller messages. So, I needed to assign an empty assignable controller to the number that GTR3 wants for changing patches and then it works fine! MIDI can control many different parameters in the program, including changing patches but it only does this with the CC numbers. And it all will work fine in Pro Tools. So thanks to those who helped me out!"
