Kylie Minogue has said that she is prepared for a chart battle with the Scissor Sisters when both acts release their new singles.

The singer will go head-to-head with the US four-piece when she releases her song 'All The Lovers' the week after their comeback single 'Fire With Fire' hits shelves.

Referring to Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, who has worked on her new album Aphrodite, Minogue told the Metro: "Would I like to knock him off the top spot? I'm afraid so!"

She added: "Working with Jake again was amazing. It's so good to see them again."

Minogue's 'All The Lovers' is available to download from June 13. It will be released physically on June 28.
