és valami iszonyatos hekkeléssel oldották meg az egész cuccot Marmint a gorog rendszert Mac-en. A lenyeg, hogy pl. a fontok IDje megegyezik az angol fontok IDjevel emiatt egyszerre nem hasznalhatok, mert akkor utkoznek jol. Ugyanez igaz a script IDre, stb.
Letezik valami cucc, ami angol rendszeren csinal gorog betuket, de nem tudom miaz es honnan lehet beszerezni. Nezz korul a neten. (pl. http://www.rainbow.gr.) A "legegyszerubb" egy echte gorog rendszer.
Nna. megkérdeztem egy okos embert (Lokator), és mondott valamit, amit kurvára nem értettem. A lényege az volt, hogy görög language kit nincs és valami iszonyatos hekkeléssel oldották meg az egész cuccot. Van megoldás macen is, de röviden csak azt tanácsolta, hogy vigye át a file-t vindozra. Ezzel persze a probléma még probléma marad :(((
Némi tanakodás, és baráti tanács hatására arra jutottam, hogy a pc-s
rendszergazdiság utan szeretnék megtanulni mindent, amit a mac-ről csak
lehet. Nem titkolt célom, hogy elöbb-utóbb a pc-t elhagyva, csak a mac-nek
szenteljem magam :).
A probléma mindössze csak annyi, hogy Magyarországon sehol nem tanitjak,
illetve én nem találtam rá. Esélyem kitanulni csak egy ezzel foglalkozó
cégnél (vagy maganzó mellett) lenne. Kérdés, hogy kinek lenne szüksége rám?
Több helyről hallottam, hogy mac-es rendszergazdából kevés van, ezert arra
is gondoltam, hogy talán egy studiónak is megérné a kitanittatásom,
cserébe egy jó hosszú szerződésért.
Mac-es referenciám sajnos nincs (kivéve öreg kis Quadrámat), de a pécsi
közgáz 300 gépes hálózatának üzemeltetése során elég sok tapasztalatot
magamra szedtem, és hamarosan meglesz a "felsőfokú programozó és
rendszergazda" papirom is, bár szerintem a tapasztalatom többet ér.
Ti hogy látjátok? Dédelgetett álom marad az egész? Aki ezzel foglalkozik, hogy kezdte?
Életkoromnál fogva a kezdetektől nem lehettem ott, de talan még nem keső váltani.

ez sajna így van. a win nem látja az ún. resource fork-ot, a mac-nak meg kellene. így a winnel letöltött, cd-re írt dolog a mac-nak nem lesz jó.
ha jól emlékszem, a .sit tömörítésű anyagban benne van minden ami kell, ha azt mac-en kibontod, jó lesz.
Ha windowsban letoltok egy .img file-t, vagy pl. egy mac-es installt es kiirom (windowsbol) cd-re, hogy a francba birok kezdeni vele valamit a mac-en? Nagyon erdekelne a valasz, mert az ocsemnel jutok internethez, es igy egy rakas cuccal amit leszedtem es kiirtam nala cd-re, nem birok mit kezdeni. Pedig biztos lehet valahogy.
Elore is elnezest, kicsit hosszu lesz, de aki fejlesztett Mac-en annak az MPW olyan mintha egy szeretett haziallat lenne. Illetve olyan volt...
Röviden (ha nem akartok sokat olvasni): az MPW teamet feloszlatták effective 9/10/2001. Talán engedik, hogy az ftp site maradjon, esetleg hogy Greg hobbizgasson. Carbon MPW-rôl meg pláne ne is álmodjunk.

I agree that your patience has been above and beyond what should be considered reasonable. I thank you for that. I realize that you folks have businesses to run, and projects to plan for, and you haven't been given the information to make informed decisions concerning your future development directions. I've been waiting for some official response from the company, but I have little faith that it's ever going to happen. I've been forced to remain silent for far too long. Hopefully, I can correct that now.
The current status is that a version of MPW that runs as a native Mac OS X application will never be released outside of Apple, if Apple has any say in the matter. Nor will there be any additional, official, updates to the existing environment.
I used Apple's bug tracking system to track all of the requests from internal and external developers concerning having MPW running natively on Mac OS X. DTS started it after last year's WWDC, and there were over 250 email messages archived in the bug at the end. (It takes about 30 seconds just to open the bug, due to the amount of data that has to be shoved through the wires.) The bug was finally closed by upper level management in August as "Not to be fixed".
Executive Management has stated that there are no plans to move MPW to Mac OS X, nor will there be. The Mac OS X tools are Project Builder and gcc, and that it's time for EVERYONE to get 100% behind them.
Effective 9/10/2001, there is no longer an MPW team. I was redeployed to CarbonLib, and my co-worker interviewed with the AppleScript team, into which she was subsequently hired. (There were only the two of us for the last year or so.) I'll continue to tinker on my own time, but there may be no delivery mechanism for anything I produce. I was able to wrap up the final public release of the shell, 3.6d8, and get it up on the ftp server this week, on my own time over the last month. I've been told that there will be no more changes allowed to the MPW web site, and I don't know how much longer it will even continue to exist. So, you won't see the usual release notice there.
This situation is unlikely to change, unless there's a dramatic change within Apple that I am unable to foresee. I did what I could, within the limits of my position within the company, and without taking too many risks to the continuation of that position. You fine people deserve to know what the current state of the MPW world is, though, so I can no longer stay silent. I'm sorry I couldn't have done more, and don't know how much longer I'll be able to continue working with the environment sources. Maybe management will allow the ftp site to continue to exist. Maybe I'll be asked to move to a position outside the firewall.

Thanks for the support and encouragement over the years, and thanks for reporting the bugs that kept me employed and working on the best development environment I've ever had the opportunity to use. I think you know by now that I'd happily keep maintaining and enhancing MPW for the remainder of my career, to the benefit of us all. And, until my access to the sources is restricted somehow, I will continue to do what I can, and treat this as my own little open-source project (open to me, that is :-). I will also continue to contribute to this community as much as I can. Just keep in mind that it's now a part-time gig.

A Network Browser azert jo, ill. volt jo 8.x-en (mar ahol volt), mert ha azon keresztul konnektaltal es a masik gepen be volt kapcsolva az Enable File Sharing on TCP/IP, akkor TCP/IP-n ment, es nem Appletalkon. Ez azert jo, mert gyors mint atom. Ha chooserrel nyomultal, akkor mindenkepp AT-ot hasznalt.
A 9.x rendszerekben mar automatikusan erzi, hogy a masik gep tud-e TCP/IP-t, es ha tud ugy konnektal. Ez onnan latszik, hogy egy kis foldgomb jelenik a felmountolt server ikon aljan.
Hát, én gond nélkül brózolok alóla 5-ös explorerrel. Altatni meg nem szoktam, hagy gyúrjon a seti@home...
Ja, a Network Browser az alma menüböl? Nemtom, azt visszakézböl ki szoktam vágni a kukába... Még sosem müködött nekem semmilyen verzió alatt rendesen.
9.1: clean install, szükséges dolgok átdobál 9.2-böl, 9.2 deaktivál, újraindít.
Na,felraktam a 9.2-es OS-t, de nem volt jó döntés. A network browser nem működik, ha fut az iTunes és el akarom altatni, úgy lefagy, mint a fába szorult féreg. Hogy tudok vajon visszatérni a 9.1-hez?

ui.: MacOS X 10.1 rulzik. _Sokkal_ gyorsabb mint a korabbi X-ek, egy csomo hibat javitottak, latszik az osszes Mac-es gep a halozatban es kis trukkel az osszes PC es UNIX is!! Szoval ha X, akkor 10.1 egyertelmuen! Holnaptol lehet kapni amerikaban, Mo-n. nem tudom.

Csomó full program van ott, érdemes megnézni. Nos, amiért segítséget akarok kérni, az az, hogy nem tudok letölteni onnan jelenleg semmit. Még tavasszal a mac-kel letöltöttem onnan egy csomó mindent, de most azon nincs hálóm, a barátnőm pc-jével meg nem bírok letölteni semmit, hiába nyomok arra, hogy download, csak elvisz egy oldalra, aztán annyi. Megnéznétek, hogy nektek működik-e? Fontos lenne, mert megsérült a photoshop cd-m, és nagyon kéne, és innen az is letölthető.
