Ja, és a Jennifer Williams eccerüen belegyezett a dem kreténeknek és simán lepattintotta öket. A fösodratú liberónáci német fake news médiák el is intézték a nö meghallgatását 2,5 sorban, míg a katonai felettesét mószeroló Windman tetü apjához intézett majdhogy szerelmes ódáját hosszasan tárgyalják érzelemtöl csepegve.
National Review Ken Starr: Trump Impeachment Frenzy ‘Wildly Over-Criminalizing the Conduct of the Business of Government’
October 28, 2019 12:05 PM
(Jim Young/Reuters)
Former U.S. Solicitor General Ken Starr, who headed the impeachment efforts against President Clinton, said on a podcast Monday that the impeachment frenzy surrounding President Trump stems from “creative” efforts and holds Trump “to a remarkable standard.”
“He did nothing that sounds in the nature of a corrupt bargain,” Starr said. “. . . There were 17 people on the phone, including the Secretary of State, so the president was so open, and shall I say transparent, about it that that goes to his intent. There was no corrupt bargain, or attempt to achieve a corrupt bargain.”
Discussing the situation with Byron York, chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner, Starr said that while the president may have been imprudent in bringing up Joe Biden, “a potential opponent,” Trump’s concern was “information about election past, not election future.”
Starr said that the much-discussed Ukrainian military aid, which was part of a “quid-pro-quo” with the Ukrainians for investigating Hunter Biden, was delivered by its legally-required end of the fiscal year, making the case even more speculative.
NR's afternoon roundup of the day's best commentary & must-read analysis.
“Even assuming that is was ‘being withheld in this kind of corrupt arraignment,’ it was issued in good order, it was not, in fact, held up, and then you move to, I think, a genuine squabble over the timeline, interpretations over the timeline — this is so far from a cold, on the docks, Richard Nixon-engaged-in [case], and everyone accepted it, in a conspiracy to obstruct justice,” he said.”
Starr pushed back on the use of impeachment as a political weapon, and instead argued that it would be “within the bounds of reason” for Democrats to attempt to censure Trump for mentioning Biden on the call, in the same way the House Republicans recently attempted to censure House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D., Calif.)
“We need to ratchet down the conversation because of the evils of impeachment,” Starr stated. “Impeachment has become a terrible, terrible thorn in the side of the American democracy and the conduct of American government since Watergate. We need to get rid of this ‘let’s go to impeachment immediately,’ let’s at least have a reasoned and deliberate conversation about some lesser kind of response.”
Starr closed by suggesting the current impeachment tactics by House Democrats have not been pursued in good faith.
“Right now, the Democrats have embarked on quite an unusual and unorthodox process. Time will tell, but fundamental norms of fairness are not being observed at this stage,” he said. “Once this sinks in to the public conscience, as it’s bound to do, because the procedures are so unorthodox, so unusual, such a substantial departure from history that the American people will eventually understand that, and that they will either care about it, as I think they will, or they will brush it off and say ‘well, they should not have done this, but they did.’”
I have no idea what’s up with Trump not being seen by anyone on Sunday or Monday after his trip to the hospital on Saturday. Like all of you, I can only guess. Rest assured, he will never quit, never resign. So here’s a possibility...
On that classified White House server, where they were hiding the Ukraine bribery phone call — only to be exposed by the Whistleblower — there is most likely other evidence of OTHER impeachable crimes Trump has committed in the past three years — crimes far, far worse than the bribery call to President Zelensky — crimes that his staff has hidden on that very same server. Congress MUST subpoena that server. When the American public hears the OTHER things he’s done to betray this country, they will DEMAND a Senate conviction and removal.
Trump knows this.
It finally sank in to him this weekend, the cruel reality and his ultimate fate sealed by two former slave states stunningly voting these past 2 weeks for a Democratic Governor. This caused him massive stress and an anxiety attack, and perhaps some chest pain, so they took him to the hospital. He is buying time for a new strategy, something we can’t conceive of because he is smarter than us — in an evil-genius sort of way. Like the way he won the presidency by losing the election. Can you do that?
I can’t. Like the way he outsmarted Mueller by avoiding having to testify. Like the way everyone keeps saying “Wait until he has to debate Biden or Warren!” — as if you actually believe he’s even going to participate in a debate next year! The same way you believed he was going to have to release his income taxes — “because that’s the way it’s always been done!!”
No, we had all better wise up and get ready. Never write him off. Let’s begin an urgent national discussion and action as to how we are going to remove him — legally and nonviolently. He will not leave quietly. This is the man who singlehandedly got 40% of the country to believe Obama was from Kenya — and convinced millions that the exonerated Central Park Five should be executed. He’s got more rage and racism and hatred of women in him than any thousand white men combined. The moment has arrived:
1. Impeach him NOW - not in late December. 2. Convict and Remove him by Martin Luther King Day in January. 3. Gear up to bring tens of millions to the polls in the primaries and general election. Follow the Nov 2019 surprise example of Kentucky, Virginia and Louisiana — and send them all packing in 2020!
Dear Republicans: . You didn’t object when you heard Donald Trump say he likes to grab women “by the pussy.” . You didn’t object when he kicked the American media out of the Oval Office and handed two Russian spies classified data entrusted to him by one of our allies. . You didn’t object when he likened our intelligence community to “Nazis.” . You didn’t object when he stood before the Memorial Wall of Stars at Langley and told lie after lie about himself and the election. . You didn’t object while at the Helsinki Summit, he met behind closed doors with the Russian President. . You didn’t object to him banning the American Press from covering that meeting. . You didn’t object when he emerged from that meeting and sided with the Russian President over the findings of our own intelligence community. . You didn’t object when the Trump campaign admitted to accepting Russian offers to help him defeat SecState Clinton. . You didn’t object when he stood before the cameras and said; “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find 30k e-mails that are missing.” . You didn’t object when the Russians responded that VERY DAY with stolen emails. . You didn’t object when it was confirmed that the basis for the Trump Tower meeting was a total fabrication. That it had nothing to do with adopting Russian children, and everything to do with swinging the election. . You didn’t object when it was revealed that Trump himself floated the cover story of adoptions from Russia. . You didn’t object when it was confirmed that his campaign staff had met with Russian agents over 150 times, after claiming they had never met with them at all. . You didn’t object when the Trump campaign declined to inform the FBI about the Russian advances. . You didn’t object when Trump’s campaign manager gave internal data on four key battleground states to agents working for Putin. . You sure as hell didn’t object when those very same four battleground states miraculously shifted towards Trump on Election Day. . You didn’t object when Trump kicked his Attorney General out of the room and asked the FBI Director to let his National Security Advisor off the hook for lying about his contacts with Russian agents. . You didn’t object when Trump fired that FBI Director for declining to let Flynn off the hook. . You didn’t object when Special Counsel Robert Mueller said he couldn’t establish a conspiracy, largely because so many of Trump’s staffers lied during their interviews, and because Trump himself refused to submit to a live interview. . You didn’t object when Special Counsel Mueller cited no fewer than ten instances of the president himself obstructing justice in his report: an impeachable offense. . You didn’t object when it was revealed he cheated on his wife with a porn star. . You didn’t object when it was revealed that he paid off that porn star to the tune of $130,000.00 to buy her silence just prior to the election, an illegal attempt to hide relevant facts from the electorate. . You didn’t object when he withdrew the U.S. from the JCPOA, which was the first and ONLY treaty that’s successfully kept Iranian nuclear ambitions in check. . You didn’t object when he pulled us out of the Paris Climate Accords. . You didn’t object when he scuttled the Obama administration’s clean air and water standards. . You didn’t object when he opened up vast tracts of protected wilderness to his friends in the oil and mining industries. . You didn’t object to the myriad cases of violations of the emoluments clause. . You didn’t object when he mocked a disabled man at one of his rallies. . You didn’t object to the recently-discovered military stopovers at Trump properties in Scotland. . You didn’t object when after mass shooting after mass shooting, he wouldn’t lift a finger to protect even little school children from gun violence. . You didn’t object when he started putting tariffs on everyone from China to Turkey, which have undeniably hurt millions of people around the world and shaken the stock markets. . You didn’t object when he gave the corporate farming industry $26B in compensation for their losses due to his tariffs. . You didn’t object when he channeled $3.6B in Pentagon appropriations to his wall on the Mexican border. . You didn’t object when Trump called out against “Islamic terrorism” on multiple occasions, but never once for terrorism by white nationalists. . You didn’t object when he forcibly separated little children from their parents. . You didn’t object when he confined those children to chain-link paddocks. . You didn’t object when a whistleblower revealed the president had on multiple occasions said things that potentially undermined our nation’s safety and security. . You didn’t object when his personal lawyer, his personal consultant, and his army of sycophants at Fox News have repeatedly and consistently lied about ALL of the above for three excruciatingly long years. . So here’s my question for you: What about any of the above do you believe entitles you to the right to call yourselves “patriots?” In anything other than today’s bizarro-world, you wouldn’t even make the rank of American. When this nightmare ends, we’ll remind you of just how patriotic you were during these days. Your karma is gonna sting.
Neked is további jó lovaglást kívánunk ezen a döglött lovon. Ezzel a halott lovon való lovaglással kvalifikáltad magad a topicbohóci büszke titulusra.
"I think this president probably should have been impeached the day he walked in," Dean said Saturday on CNN. "He's incompetent.
He has a terrible attitude.
He doesn't understand government.
He is in there trying to build his own brand, and he's taking advantage of the office from day one. It's just kind of caught up with him with this incident."
Obama takes veiled shot at Warren and Sanders, warns 2020 Dems Americans don’t want to ‘tear down the system’
By Adam Shaw | Fox News
Former President Barack Obama offers words of wisdom to activists and candidates; Peter Doocy reports from Concord, New Hampshire.
Former President Barack Obama on Friday warned 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls to pay attention to what voters actually think -- warning that most of them don’t want to “tear down the system.”
“The average American doesn't think we have to completely tear down the system and remake it. And I think it's important for us not to lose sight of that,” Obama said.
“There are a lot of persuadable voters and there are a lot of Democrats out there who just want to see things make sense. They just don't want to see crazy stuff," he said. "They want to see things a little more fair, they want to see things a little more just. And how we approach that I think will be important.”
The two-term Democratic president made the remarks at a gathering of the Democracy Alliance, a group of wealthy Democratic donors. He was interviewed by Stacey Abrams, who lost Georgia’s gubernatorial race last year.
Obama has largely stayed on the sidelines on the 2020 Democratic primary, and has not yet backed a candidate -- even as former Vice President Joe Biden has invoked his name on numerous occasions. But Obama has made remarks indicating he is nervous about the drift to the extreme left on a number of issues by parts of the Democratic Party.
On Friday, he did not mention any candidates by name, but did cite immigration and health care reform as examples of where Democrats may be out of sync with the broader electorate.
Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., who have both released plans on immigration and “Medicare-for-all” respectively in recent weeks. Warren’s government-led overhaul of the health care system would eventually abolish private insurance and cost $52 trillion, while Sanders’ immigration plan includes radical policies including welfare for illegal immigrants and a moratorium on all deportations.
“Even as we push the envelope and we are bold in our vision, we also have to be rooted in reality and the fact that voters, including the Democratic voters and certainly persuadable independents or even moderate Republicans, are not driven by the same views that are reflected on certain, you know, left-leaning Twitter feeds,” Obama said.
The comment about Twitter feeds echoes remarks he made last month, when the former president took a swipe at “woke” virtue signalling and cancel culture, telling a Chicago audience to “get over” their obsessions with ideological purity tests.
“This idea of purity and you're never compromised and you're always politically woke, and all that stuff, you should get over that quickly," Obama said. “The world is messy. There are ambiguities. People who do really good stuff have flaws. People who you are fighting may love their kids, and share certain things with you.”
Fox News' Ronn Blitzer and The Associated Press contributed to this report.
A dem-ek kongresszusi szerencsétlenkedése a meghallgatásokkal a politikai öntökönbökés klasszikus iskolapéldája.
Nincs jobb?
"Of all the supposedly shocking revelations that have emerged from the impeachment hearings this week, here’s one that the Democrats in Congress hope you don’t hear about: The Obama White House knew that Hunter Biden’s extremely lucrative appointment to the board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, which occurred the month after his father was named the administration’s “point person” on Ukraine, reeked of corruption — and they didn’t do anything about it.
In Congressional testimony Friday, former Ukraine ambassador Marie Yovanovitch confirmed for Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), that in 2016 the Obama State Department privately ran her through a series of practice questions and answers to prepare Yovanovitch for her Senate confirmation hearing.
Stefanik confirmed that one specific question Yovanovitch was asked to prepare for was, “What can you tell us about Hunter Biden’s being named to the board of Burisma?” Incredibly, Yovanovitch later testified that the State Department told her to deflect any questions she might get about Hunter Biden and Burisma by referring Senators’ questions to the vice president’s office.
This admission regarding her senate confirmation prep session was startling, and it flatly contradicted a prior statement Yovanovitch had made in the hearing: “Although I have met former vice president several times over the course of our many years in government service, neither he nor the previous administration ever raised the issue of either Burisma or Hunter Biden with me.” see also Yovanovitch admits Obama admin prepped her on Hunter Biden
Rep. Stefanik proceeded to hammer this point. “For the millions of Americans watching, President Obama’s own State Department was so concerned about potential conflicts of interest from Hunter Biden’s role at Burisma that they raised it themselves while prepping this wonderful ambassador nominee before her confirmation,” Stefanik said. “And yet our Democratic colleagues and chairman of this committee cry foul when we dare ask the same question that the Obama State Department was so concerned about.”
This is not a trivial point. Central to the case for impeaching Trump is the assertion he was targeting a political rival and had no legitimate basis for investigating Biden’s potential corruption.
If the Obama administration thought the vice president’s son as much as a $1 million a year and, as the Wall Street Journal recently reported, dropping Hunter Biden’s name to get meetings at the State Department was a problem, well, the case for impeachment is much harder to make.
It also speaks to the circumstances which triggered the impeachment hearings. Various national security and State Department bureaucrats have emerged from the woodwork to condemn Trump’s alleged quid pro quo with the Ukrainian president. If the State Department was concerned about corruption in the vice president’s office in 2016, why were they directing bureaucrats to avoid answering questions about it? Where were the whistleblowers and patriotic truth-tellers then? One unavoidable conclusion is that congressional Democrats and federal bureaucrats developed their sudden interest in the White House corruption only after Trump won an election."

"In my life, I have watched John Kennedy talk on television about missiles in Cuba. I saw Lyndon Johnson look Richard Russell squarely in the eye and and say, "And we shall overcome." I saw Richard Nixon resign and Gerald Ford tell the Congress that our long national nightmare was over. I saw Jimmy Carter talk about malaise and Ronald Reagan talk about a shining city on a hill. I saw George H.W. Bush deliver the eulogy for the Soviet bloc, and Bill Clinton comfort the survivors of Timothy McVeigh's madness in Oklahoma City. I saw George W. Bush struggle to make sense of it all on September 11, 2001, and I saw Barack Obama sing "Amazing Grace" in the wounded sanctuary of Mother Emanuel Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
These were the presidents of my lifetime. These were not perfect men. They were not perfect presidents, god knows. Not one of them was that. But they approached the job, and they took to the podium, with all the gravitas they could muster as appropriate to the job. They tried, at least, to reach for something in the presidency that was beyond their grasp as ordinary human beings. They were not all ennobled by the attempt, but they tried nonetheless.
And comes now this hopeless, vicious buffoon, and the audience of equally hopeless and vicious buffoons who laughed and cheered when he made sport of a woman whose lasting memory of the trauma she suffered is the laughter of the perpetrators. Now he comes, a man swathed in scandal, with no interest beyond what he can put in his pocket and what he can put over on a universe of suckers, and he does something like this while occupying an office that we gave him, and while endowed with a public trust that he dishonors every day he wakes up in the White House.
The scion of a multigenerational criminal enterprise, the parameters of which we are only now beginning to comprehend. A vessel for all the worst elements of the American condition. And a cheap, soulless bully besides.
Watch him make fun of the woman again. Watch how a republic dies in the empty eyes of an empty man who feels nothing but his own imaginary greatness, and who cannot find in himself the decency simply to shut the fuck up even when it is in his best interest to do so. Presidents don't have to be heroes to be good presidents. They just have to realize that their humanity is our common humanity, and that their political commonwealth is our political commonwealth, too.
Watch him again, behind the seal of the President of the United States. Isn't he a funny man? Isn't what happened to that lady hilarious? Watch the assembled morons cheer. This is the only story now."
