The wonderful BLOOM by silentwave is one of my favorite albums (mini-album in this case) on my label and I have been talking to the artist about getting it out on both vinyl and compact disc. We both agreed it should reach more audience and now you can get it in both formats! The album got great feeback last year and the tape sold out quickly. Now let's enjoy it again.
Begg’s casual mastery of his sound is shown off by the fact that he doesn’t over-egg the pudding of the Energie Electrique EP. Rather than doing sonic cartwheels to get people’s attention, Energie Electrique is characterised by the way Begg adds or subtracts elements to sturdy grooves. It’s an approach which makes for a collection of tunes that manage to bring the boogie from the off while they also hide all sorts of aural Easter eggs amidst the mix.

Cyantrio was formed by Myoptik in 2007 specifically to perform at the 6Music Summer Sundae festival at Demontfort Hall. The three performers were booked for the main marquee on the first night of the festival and played to a packed tent, receiving rapturous applause, with a full page photo in the Leicester Mercury newspaper the day after. It is fair to say that they ignited the event that year. This album was recorded a few weeks before the festival as a dress rehearsal, it was an entirely improvised live set recorded at Jimmy’s. Music to bliss you out, whatever the weather, however your mind.
