Egyébként Kurucz Laci mondta a közvetítésben, hogy a Sport1en lesz élőben PoolVB közvetítés, azért az sokkal jobb lesz mint a heti óra összefoglaló. Sportot szerintem élőben kell nézni. :)
TV-ben Snookert sokára fogunk legközelebb látni. Marad a Pool. Szombaton néztem a Sport1en és tök furcsa volt a debella Snookeres asztal után.
Mekkorák a hivatalos asztalméretek?
Jaja... :)) Most értem haza, és nézem videoról a mai összefoglalót. Kicsit azér kevésbé idegesen mint tegnap. :))
A topic gondozásával nem lesz gond, keresni kell vmi versenynaptárt azt betenni, hogy tudjuk mikor kell kiemelten figyelni. Talán a BBCs oldalon közvetítik a többi versenyt is, persze a Euron lenne a legjobb.

Én is megnéztem ma mégegyszer az ismétlést..
Mennyivel másabb volt,mint élőben..Már jobban figyeltem a nagy pontokra,és a még nagyobb hibákra..

Nagyon jó volt a világbajnokság, bár nekem Hendry meg Hunter volt a favorit.
Ha magyarországon ma valaki hivatásos snookerista akar lenni, arra van mód? Úgy értem van-e valahol snooker klub, ahol lehet "edzeni", versenyezni, és onnan feljebb jutni?

Amúgy hol lehet még közvetítéseket nyomon követni? A Eurosport már régóta nem adja le a bajnokságokat. Nagyon meglepő volt, hogy most ezt legalább megnézhettük.
Welsh wizard Mark Williams took a deserved 7-1 lead after the opening salvos in the Embassy World final. Both players struggled to settled and chances went begging on both sides, but Williams snatched the first with a 42 clearance, after an early 37 from Doherty was not decisive. And the new World No. 1 took the second as well, before Doherty found some fluency with the highest break of the session, 76 to take the third. But the Irishman was 3-1 down at the first break, as Williams again gobbled up the bits and pieces on offer. A missed black by Doherty gave Williams a chance for a decisive 62 in frame five and 52 in the next put him 5-1 ahead. Doherty needed to salvage something from the last two frames of the afternoon, but made little impression on the Welshman, who took the seventh with runs of 35 and 29, but the hammer blow was administered by Williams in the last of the session. Doherty opened with 56, lost position and Williams ultimately stepped in with a crunching 75 clearance for a 7-1 lead.
Honours were shares 4-4 after an engrossing and high quality second session. Williams looked as if he was going to run away with the match, taking three of the first four frames with breaks of 118 and 101, but Doherty dug deep after the interval. He smacked in 79 to start with, then snatched the next by one point and produced a vital 50 clearance in the last to sneak that as well to take three out of four, but Williams still sleeps on a six frame lead.
A dream start for Ken Doherty who has won all of the first four frames of the day, bringing himself right back into the match and sowing the first seeds of doubt into the mind of Mark Williams. Doherty clinched the opener with 52 after a nervy start from both players and he clinched a scrappy second as well, getting the better of the safety exchanges. The Irishman hit top gear in the third with a superb 128 total clearance and he pounced on a careless miss by Williams early in the fourth to grab that frame as well. It's game on!! Doherty continued that form after the break and took the next two tension packed frames. Williams eventually stopped the rot to claim the next, but Doherty rounded off with a scintillating 115 to put the match on a knife edge at 12-12
It's down to the best of three now. the first four frames were shared, before Williams smashed in 120 and 64 to go two ahead, but back came Doherty again with 64 and 112. It's toe to toe, who will land the winning punch?
Williams takes the 33rd frame with an opening 45 and 32 clearance. Williams polishes off the frame for victory in style with breaks of 39 and 77 and becomes the 2003 Embassy World Snooker Champ.
Mark Williams survived an amazing Ken Doherty fightback to win 18-16 and take his second world title in one of the tournament's best-ever finals.
It was a victory which seemed simple after Sunday night's play, when the Welshman's brilliant snooker had given him an 11-5 lead.
Even that emphatic scoreline represented something of a comeback for Doherty, who had been 10-2 down at one point.
But the Irishman has proved remarkably resilient and he was full of fight on Monday.
The number five seed produced a spellbinding session on Monday afternoon, winning six frames in a row to pull back to 11-11.
Williams looked bewildered at that point, but finally bagged a frame as he edged a tight 23rd to regain his lead.
But Doherty was in no mood to let go.
Every time Williams moved ahead, he fought back, moving the score on to 14-14.
The Welsh world number one finally clicked into form, and when he moved 16-14 ahead, it looked as though Doherty's challenge could be over.
But again the Irishman rallied, taking the score to 16-16.
All Doherty's previous opponents had wilted in the face of the pressure, but Williams responded in emphatic fashion.
He took the final two frames, the last with a 77 break, to clinch his second world crown and complete the treble of the UK Championships, B&H Masters and Embassy World Championships in a single season.
New snooker world champion Mark Williams said he intended to stay at the top of the snooker tree after clinching his second title at the Crucible with a thrilling win over Ken Doherty.
Williams lost his form after his first world championship win in 2000, but is determined not to let the same thing happen again.
"I am going to make sure that I don't go the same way like I did after I won it in 2000," said Williams.
"You can't dominate the game now but I will work even harder to stay at the top of the hill.
"When I won it the first time I went down a steep road and it took me a while to get back up."
Doherty made Williams fight all the way for his 18-16 victory, after at one stage being 11-4 behind.
"I felt so many nerves it was frightening. At 11-8 it was like playing with a different arm," he said.
"I was under pressure and I bottled it to be fair.
"The interval saved me. If we had carried on I think he would have won," said Williams.
Williams is only the third player to win the UK, Masters and world titles in the same season.
"To be world champion again and world number one again is an amazing feeling. I'm only the second man to get the world number one spot back," he said.
"When you get mentioned with the likes of Stephen Hendry, Steve Davis and Ray Reardon, it's unbelievable."
Doherty said that he thought that victory was within his grasp as the match reached its climax.
The Irishman had won three of his previous four matches in the last frame, and said he felt alert despite the tension.

"The adrenalin keeps you going - you cannot put it down to fatigue.
"You are always going to feel tired after a match, but not before," he said.
"I really thought I was going to win it, but in the last few frames he started playing better."
Doherty also revealed that he had surprised himself during the tournament with his ability to fight back.
"I have come through some really tough matches. I could have gone home two weeks ago," the Irishman said.
"But for two inches, Shaun Murphy would have beaten me in the first round.
"The matches here this year will be etched in my memory for a very long time.
"It was a great match to be involved in and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic.
"This is the best place in the world for snooker. And when I was coming back I really thought I would win.
"I gave every ball everything and every frame everything. I'm really gutted that I have not won."
Szemlélet kérdése,hogy ki mit értékel nagyszerű teljesítménynek..Azét,aki végig magabiztosan játszik, és nyeri a meccseit,avagy azét,aki hatalmas mázlikkal,az ellenfél hibáira építkezve,épphogy felülkerekedik a döntő pillanatokban,és így jut a nagy lehetőséghez..
Én most az elsőt preferáltam,de ebbe a szimpátia is erősen bejátszott..:))
Ha csak a sportteljesítményt nézzük,akkor a második is kétségtelenül hatalmas versenyzői kvalitásokról tesz tanúbizonyságot..

Az ő teljesítményében épp ez volt a nagyszerű. Többször is felállt a padlóról, ami bizonyos értelemben nehezebb, mint sima meccseket bezsbelni (hátrányban nyilván nehezebb játszani).
Az a frame 16-16-nál döntött. Doherty megpiszkálta az asztalt és elszúrta a ziccert. Ez a jelenet tükrözte is az egész döntőt :-)
