- Pearson confirms that there are some rumours about a new album in the
beginning of 2001.
- There will be no change of the Sisters-sound in the upcoming tour. But
there will be some "party songs" :))
- Pearson really liked listening to the recent Sona Fariq CD, it made him
smile.
- When it was mentioned by the interviewer that, according to the website,
some indie singles are due to be released soon, Pearson says that something
will happen soon.
- That yellow on the new tour poster is not confusing. For the younger fans,
yellow is the new black anyway. :)
- Pearson confirms Tin Star as a support band in the UK, as well as Chris
Starling will be with the Sisters once again.
- Pearsons favorite TSoM-Songs: "Body Electric", "Flood II", "Protosonic".
The least favorite is "Alice", because he has to look down all the time when
he plays it.
- His favorite Sisters gigs were Madrid 2000, Mexico '99, Ochtrup together
with the Sex Pistols ("pure Rock'n'Roll"), and Glauchau '97. There were many
nice moments and there will be more in the future.
- Pearson says that he is a perfectionist, too, but in different areas than
Andrew. Both merge into one perfect connection.
- Pearson says that on stage, it is teamwork, and they all stick together
when one intends to launch a solo career, what happens from time to time.
Andrew is one of the nicest men one can meet. Just like Pearson himself.
- When asked why the men on the second guitar are always changing, Pearson
says that the fired guitarists could know more about that.
- G.W.Bush: Pearson is convinced that the world will go down one day. But he
hopes that it will not happen when that wanker GWB is president.

They still tour in 2001, the Sisters Of Mercy. The last regular album
appeared in the year 1990, but nevertheless no one should talk of a
comeback. The band was finally never really away.
Bandleader Andrew Eldritch just acknowledged the anniversary-tour data for
February and March. A new album will thus take further time . " We'll
publish only if there are reasonable conditions. For the moment I fear that
no label will offer appropriate contracts to me. Many are bought up by large
American companies. " With the old label there was trouble for quite a
while. " Unfortunately this band makes cash. Record companies do not like to
drop Acts like us. " Whether Eldritch in the momentary situation can pay its
musicians without problems? He answers with a roguish smile and a short "yes
". He never loses his sense for irony, even in the following statements to
the coming tour. " I do not like it very much to be on the stage but a man
must finally pay its rent. "The track listing of the Show was modified after
the M'era Luna Festival in August last year. Five new Songs played in a
line, were confusing the people. However, since no new album is located in
the start holes, the partial lack of understanding of the masses cannot be
determined in the future, if one wants not to play constantly the same.What
to talk with a musician, who did not publish anything new? Andrew knows it:
Musician colleagues. P.J.Harvey for example: " I do not like her. For me she
stands for a type of "victim"- culture. She comes along and says: I am P.J.
Harvey and thus you have to be sorry for me. I'm not sorry for her,however!
" In return for it he likes the not so well-known Salaryman , which you can
find on the Sistershomepage in Eldritchs personal Playlist. " because their
music is in a certain way different, but nevertheless similar in certain way
to mine. I surprise myself often to only pay attention to how a disk is
produced, like it happend with the new Radiohead album. Probably I see music
in a quite different way than a pure consumer. " Also Gary Glitter finds his
place in Eldritchs favorites. Doesn't the knowledge about Glitters
possession of pornographic child photos on thePC diminish the hearing
pleasure?" I do not understand, to whom he did any harm by the possession of
the pictures? Actually the maker of these pictures should have the problems.
Besides you can't expect a person spending his whole life in public to
remain normal. I do not have a problem with Gary Glitter, still not! "
Blockhead Eldrtitch does not seem to know the laws of the free-market
economy, after which the demand increases the supply.
