A masodik koncert utan ezt irtam egy havernak ( Bocs, most nincs kedvem leforditani.)
There were about 500 people in the 700 room. They started at 8.15 and played exactly 100 minutes. Noone was allowed to make pictures so I didn’t make any neither. The best I can do is to show my pass and a ticket. Also at the end of this message is the flyer that lists what merchandise they sell on this tour.
I have to admit I don’t know their repertoire, but it was clear the most of the first 70 minutes was new material. This time they were mostly wearing military camouflage colors and styles. They are usually quite dark, but now they were even darker. They wrote most of the songs soon after 9/11 thus the show had a deadly quality to it. I think that the lyrics are rather important in their case and I couldn’t follow most of it, so don’t know what to make of it. Each song was a little drama as well, and 1-2-3-4 persons acted them out. The theme is “Demon Dance Alone” And indeed there was an acrobat with a Demon mask and body covered in red. He had two strong flashlights and was using it often to create a lighting effect reminiscent to expressionist movies. When I said “acrobat” I meant it. He moved like a professional dancer on stage and in and around the audience.
The back part of the stage had a military tent that you could peek in because its walls were made of some net. The front of the stage there were two poles, with hooks where the musicians put and took off their green lanterns.
The music of all the songs resembled each other to my untrained ears. I still liked, but became slightly boring after a while without grasping the details of the lyrics.
That’s about what I can say about the show. I had a good time.
